How It Works

Fans select their state allegiance — "Take the Blue Pill" for NSW or "Take the Red Pill" for Queensland — then pick their preferred player for every position from fullback through to the 19th man. Each entry earns points based on how closely selections match the actual Origin squads and match results.

The Arena

The Arena is the live heartbeat of Origin Oracle. It displays real-time data on total teams submitted, aggregate points for each state, and which side is currently leading the fan vote. The scoreboard updates every 30 seconds, creating a dynamic, always-on experience throughout the Origin period.

People's Team

One of the standout features is the People's Team — a live, crowd-sourced view of who fans are actually selecting for each position. It shows the most popular pick at every jersey number along with the percentage of votes and who they're up against. It's a real-time pulse on fan sentiment heading into each game.
